Senior RFIC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Our team focuses on state of art Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-wave, Wi-Fi and multi-protocols products design power amplifiers, LNA, Mixers, PLL's, ADC/DACs. Due to product applications, the focus/challenge will be on making these designs with very low power.

  • Architecture of blocks or signal chain
  • Design and simulation of blocks like LNA/Mixers/filters/PLLs/ADC/DAC/power amplifiers
  • Exposure to the full cycle of design from inception to bench validation testing
  • Guide the layout engineer from floorplan through post-layout verification
     

Skills You Will Need:

  • MS/MSc/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of experience in design
  • Proficiency in Cadence Design Environment for Analog, Mixed-Signal and RF designs (Cadence Analog Artist, Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, EMX, AFS etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge in signal processing
  • Prior experience in designing analog/mixed signal blocks such as: L-C VCOs, L-C DCOs, DCROs, LO Dividers, mixers, LO buffers, Analog PLLs (Charge pump, PFD, Loop-filter, Delta-sigma), Digital PLLs (TDC, Digital loop-filter), or Oscillators
  • Familiarity of continuous time and/or discrete time (switched cap) analog blocks (high linearity and low-noise Filters, analog amplifier stages, voltage references, linear regulators, etc.)
  • Knowledge of calibration circuits for compensating process/voltage/temperature variations
  • Prior Experience in silicon bring-up and characterization using digital, analog and RF test-equipment
  • Scripting in Python, Skill, Ocean, Perl, Unix Shell, etc.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $114,428 - $212,510 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
