Job Description
Assists and collaborates in the implementation and delivery of activities to help meet the developmental and social needs of patients and families.Experience
- Experience in a group setting with a child
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Computer skills
Education
- Associates degree in Child Development or related field
Certification Summary
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment

Job Responsibilities
- Plans and implements high-quality, comprehensive individual and group activities.
- Collaborates with Foundation, Marketing, and Public Relations in fundraising events and donor relations/activities.
- Promotes participation in hospital-wide and unit-based special events.
- Serves as liaison for patient needs between Child Life Specialists and other staff as needed.
- Provides computer and audio-visual activities and programming.
