We at Milestone Recovery are excited to announce our expanded detox program! To help this expansion, we are currently hiring Registered Nurses to join our wonderful team!


Our Mission is to provide compassionate care and services to empower individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental illnesses, and homelessness to attain an enhanced quality of life regardless of ability to pay. 


Position Profile: Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Compensation $36.00 - $40.00 per hour for full time, $38.00 - $42.00 per hour for per diem

 
Differentials $5.00/hour overnights, $2.50/hour weekends, $7.50/hour weekend overnights 


Qualifications Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. One (1) to two (2) year(s) clinical experience is a plus. Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Maine, must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Experience with chronic substance use disorder and/or mental illness is a plus. 


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Implement an appropriate individualized health treatment plan with the patient 
  • Plan and carry out the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients 
  • Be responsible for all aspects of the health care for the patient caseload during each shift? 
  • Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential manner 
  • Assist with admissions 
  • Will hold a proficiency in KIPU and will attend trainings as necessary. 
  • Make the appropriate referrals to other agencies and resources for the health care of the patients 
  • Attend essential training programs and weekly staff meetings 
  • Be willing and able to work as a team member, including leadership nursing roles 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
