Job Details:

• Position Type: Full-time, remote.
• Pay: $21.50

Principal Responsibilities:

• Contact insurance companies regarding pending claims.
• Review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) for payments.
• Work Accounts Receivable reports monthly to reduce the number of days claims are pending payments.
• Work correspondence from insurance companies to process outstanding claims.
• Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous medical billing experience, with multiple specialty experiences, preferred.
• Experience in the following specialties is a plus: Cardiology, Orthopedic, and Podiatry.
• Previous experience with private, government, and workers’ compensation insurance companies is a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to change tasks as needed for urgent issues.
• Ability to work with individuals at all organizational level
