The Product Solutions Center Manager is responsible for working with Retail Ops and Underwriting, Retail Sales Teams, Post-Closing, Leadership, and Investor partners. This position requires a strong credit background with Agency knowledge as well as proficiency in Self Employment Analysis and jumbo and non-QM products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include, but are not limited to:
- Nationally support all Sales staff with credit-related issues from basic guideline questions, complex income scenarios and obtain credit exceptions upfront to deliver quality loans to investors.
- Assist sales with hard-to-place loans and handle non-agency guideline questions.
- Investor Relations – works closely with correspondent and brokered investors on scenarios.
- Works closely with Underwriting and Post-closing on closed loan escalations.
- Review and Approval of loan product marketing collateral to ensure they meet guidelines.
- Liaison between Sales staff and Investor for all products including Figure applications.

- Helps to maintain positive relationships with all Broker and Investor partners.
- Develops processes and procedures to maintain customer service standards and enhance workflow for optimum production and loan quality.
- Evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify product gaps and opportunities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 10 years’ mortgage experience with current experience on jumbo and non-QM products.
- Proficiency in Tax Return Analysis and non-QM products.
- Thorough understanding of credit and an ability to review complex financial documents required.
- Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable and ability to maintain excellent quality while working in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills.
- High integrity and confidentiality required.
- Flexibility in decision making with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to properly interpret DU and LP and effectively communicate all Agency and investor guidelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate subordinates.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of managing direct reports.
- Must demonstrate positive leadership skills and abilities.
- Recruits, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops staff; manages schedules and workflow.
- Manages employees’ daily and weekly metrics.
- Coaches/counsels individual performance of team members.
PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
COMPENSATION: CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $120,000 to $145,000. Factors that affect salary may include: Education, Experience and Specific skills related to the position.
