Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a senior leadership role focused on people, performance, and long-term success. As a General Manager, you’ll provide strategic oversight for multiple salons by leading, coaching, and developing Area Managers and Salon Managers to deliver brand standards, build strong teams, and achieve consistent business results. Who we are
A: General Managers focus on coaching Area Managers and Salon Managers, strengthening performance, and supporting long-term success across multiple salons. You may also cut hair from time to time.
A: General Managers (GMs) report to the salon owner (Great Clips franchisee). GMs oversee Area Managers and Salon Managers within their salon organization and are accountable to achieve results.
A: Both. While the role is more strategic, General Managers stay connected to salon teams to understand challenges and develop plans for operational excellence.
A: Yes. General Managers are responsible for multiple salons within a defined area of the franchise organization.
