Your Career
The Palo Alto Networks Learning and Enablement organization provides world-class training, certification, and digital learning options on our products that help address the world's greatest security challenges with continuous innovation that seizes the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, and orchestration.
In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in designing and developing the technical curriculum for our suite of cybersecurity products, with a special focus on our Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical depth with a passion for educational excellence, aiming to create impactful and engaging training content.
Your Impact
- Design, develop and maintain technical training content to meet the learning needs of both internal and external users of Palo Alto Networks' products, focusing on our cloud-native application protection platform. This will include demonstrations, hands-on labs, and assessments, for both digital learning and instructor-led training.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging learning solutions
- Perform ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and updates to ensure the highest quality and readiness of all training materials
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide demos and recorded lectures, and to get feedback on course materials.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align training with product development and launch timelines
- Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of public cloud security solutions, Prisma Cloud products, new product updates, and industry trends.
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure the timely completion of course-related deliverables
Qualifications
Your Experience
- A minimum of 3 yrs experience in technical training development for enterprise software products, preferably cloud-based.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in capturing the nuances of cloud computing technologies, covering areas like virtualization, containerization, serverless computing, multi-tenancy, service-oriented architecture, DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or cybersecurity.
- Hands-On Experience with creating, overseeing, and updating training labs, along with designing interactive eLearning modules
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging learning solutions
- Strong proficiency in content development tools, including but not limited to Rise, Storyline, Evolve, Captivate, Camtasia and the Adobe Suite.
- Strong practical knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles and processes, and evaluation of training.
- Strong project/program management experience (i.e., prioritization, planning, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks) exhibiting solid end-to-end thinking.
