Juniper's CTO Team is looking for a Cloud Networking software development engineer to help drive the technical leadership and delivery of bleeding edge cloud networking initiatives that will cover hybrid and multi-cloud networking.

Role:

The candidate will work on multiple technology areas of cloud networking including public cloud networking, build resilient and scalable cloud native components and drive towards Juniper’s goal of experience first networking. Working with other team members, the candidate will be involved in solving problems across technology areas including cloud networking, traditional networking, development, and deployment of large-scale distributed systems in the hybrid and multi cloud space. The end goal is to ensure that hybrid cloud and multi cloud networking are realized with high scalability, resilience, and ease of use.

1-2 Years Knowledge/Experience:

• Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and GCP
• Public cloud networking including VPC networking and cloud APIs
• IP Routing e.g. BGP, VPN technologies, virtual networking
• GoLang
• Kubernetes, virtualization, Linux
• Distributed systems, multi-threaded programming, gRPC

Optional Skills/Knowledge:

• Database and cloud data store technologies
• Distributed messaging systems – e.g., Kafka

Minimum Salary: $102,400.00

Maximum Salary:$147,200.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $102,400.00 and $147,200.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
