Job Summary
The Data Analyst is a pivotal member of the Data Architecture team, responsible for managing data solution projects, developing data products, supporting advanced analytical and business intelligence requirements, and ensuring robust data governance processes. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement efficient data processes, fostering a data-driven culture and a strong community of practice within the organization.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
- Reporting and Business Intelligence
- Build and maintain relationship with Subject Matter Experts, Data Analytics Team and other technical teams in identifying report requirements, aligning data initiatives, and opportunities that would leverage in business intelligence and advance analytics approaches.
- Collaborate with different business units, understand its operational needs, review current processes and proposes process innovations with the objective of improving process efficiency while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Analyze and organize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data, test scenarios/cases, performs integrations and systems tests, and build reports/dashboards to meet users’ requirements.
- Interpret and turn raw data into useful information and informative reports, dashboard and visualization to help in the decision-making process of Senior Management.
- Project Management
- Lead and manage data solution projects and ensures deliverables are executed and implemented in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for all project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct sessions on technical guidance and training to team members and stakeholders related to project concerns.
- Business Process Management
- Analyze current data-related business processes and support the design of strategies and innovative solutions that enable organization to improve and achieve desired outcomes such as enhancement of data-related practices, workflows, and decision-making capabilities.
- Formulate policies and procedures in data governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational standards.
- Develop new approach and methodologies that will enable and maintain data management practices and analytics to facilitate real-time and informative dashboards and reports.
- Collaboration, Culture, and Enablement
- Contribute to the development of data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
- Conduct regular meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to discuss best practices, new tools, and techniques in data analytics.
- Develop and maintain repository of resources, documentation, and training materials for the data and analytics community.
- Act as a liaison between different D&A teams to ensure alignment and consistency in data practices and standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud reporting, data analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience working in an international or non-governmental organization and/or multi-cultural environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical expertise in Oracle environments and various BI tools.
- Deep understanding of data quality and metadata management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating with various teams.
- Experience managing data solution projects and business process analysis.
- Proven quantitative and analytical skills.
