Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a member of a team of individuals who ensure that security requirements needed to protect the company’s business, its processes, and systems, are addressed in all digital solutions.  This role will focus primarily on IT solutions, but knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) is a plus.  The candidate should have a thirst for learning, innovative thinking, and breadth of knowledge across digital technology and associated security capabilities. The Cybersecurity Architecture team works with other architects and business experts, including Enterprise Architects, to ensure appropriate security controls are present in existing and new solution architectures.  The candidate will need to understand Cybersecurity frameworks and company Cybersecurity standards as they advise and assist other teams.  This role includes the development of Cybersecurity architectural diagrams and associated documentation.  It also requires excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation, skills.

This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports architectural governance and compliance, contributes to defining principles, guidelines, and standards. Participates and contributes in solution architecture reviews and ensures architecture adherence.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluates and selects appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms. Takes a more active role in analyzing technology trends and impacts, contributes to vendor assessments.
• Leads the design and development of end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements. Analyzes and translates business and technical requirements into solution designs. Leads the translation of business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, collaborating with product owners and managers. Defines system integration approaches and ensures interoperability of components.
• Provides guidance and support to development teams during solution implementation. Manages the architecture for a broader scope of projects, develops roadmaps for portfolio evolution.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology preferred, related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant architecture experience required
• CISSP certification preferred
• Microsoft Certification: Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred
