<p><strong>Family Description</strong><br/><br/>Applied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.<br/><br/><strong>Subfamily Description</strong><br/><br/>Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and specifications. Covers setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.<br/><br/> </p>
<p><br/>We are seeking an experienced Architect with deep expertise in Kubernetes or Red Hat OS domains to join our our E2E R&D team. </p>
<p>The task is to introduce ngNCOM for Nokia Cloud Platform: planning the integration of NCP and ngNCOM, developing a comprehensive integration and testing plan, and exploring how to utilize Crossplane Compositions in ngCOM.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements coming from Portfolio Management and creating studies for the future items. At the same time, maintaining architecture documents for Nokia Cloud Platform. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on integration and automation on kubernetes skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management to ensure seamless integration of NCP solution into our rapidly evolving environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of Nokia Cloud Platform automation with crossplane based ngNCOM.</li>
<li>Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and leadership in the automation of NCP</li>
<li>Management Engagement: Work closely with Portfolio Management to understand their business challenges, translate requirements into technical solutions, and present architectural recommendations. Analyze the new requirements and create detailed technical studies when needed to support the stakeholders on decision making. </li>
<li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal external teams, including product management, engineering and architect teams.</li>
<li>Innovation & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud automation domain and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the R&D.</li>
<li>Documentation & Compliance: Ensure comprehensive documentation of all automation designs and adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.</li>
</ul>
<p>Skills:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Extensive experience as an automation engineer or cloud engineer, preferably as an architect</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of Kubernetes (Crossplane knowledge is a big advantage)</li>
<li>Strong experience with cloud computing and virtualization.</li>
<li>Strong competence in cloud automation</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of any scripting language</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions for complex challenges.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience in managing multiple projects and working in a fast-paced, agile environment.</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams.<br/> </li>
