Overview

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems will play a critical role in driving the evolution of the company’s enterprise and corporate systems to support continued growth and strategic initiatives. This role will lead and develop a team of software engineers, system administrators, and business analysts, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to evaluate, implement, and optimize enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong vendor management and systems leadership experience, with the ability to define technology roadmaps, support and enhance SOX controls, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and ongoing optimization of systems under management. Working closely with senior leadership, business partners, and project managers, the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems will help shape technical strategy, execute key initiatives, and ensure stable, efficient system operations.

 

This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires regular, in-person work at our Boston, MA or Hampton, NH office. Our hybrid model is M/T/W in office and TH/F are optional work-from-home. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these locations. Fully remote work is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Builds, leads, and mentors a matrix team of technologists across a diverse portfolio of enterprise and business systems.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and trends, translating opportunities into technical, process, and cross-functional improvements across the organization.
  • Oversees both internally hosted and vendor-hosted applications to ensure performance, security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Designs scalable team operating models, workforce plans, and resource strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Develops and drives a solution roadmap that aligns business applications with evolving business needs to optimize operations and enable growth.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Implements lean, agile SDLC practices with appropriate governance and controls for a public company environment.
  • Responsible for adherence and process improvement to SOX guidelines for IT systems, preparing monthly and quarterly evidence, reviewing findings with leadership and is active participant in internal and external audit reviews.
  • Ensures accurate, thorough technical documentation of systems, business processes, and optimization initiatives.
  • Provides end-to-end production support for all systems, including outage management, stakeholder communication, and vendor coordination.
  • Manages system-related spend, ensuring budget adherence and cost-effective decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics/Statistics
