Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of trade restrictions including clearing trades and maintaining the restricted list on an ongoing basis.

• Facilitate wall crosses among Blackstone’s business units.

• Manage intake of confidential information including dealing directly with external counterparties.

• Perform trade surveillance.

• Coordinate with other Compliance team members on compliance and regulatory matters

Qualifications:

• BXCI is seeking a professional with 4+ years of experience as a compliance professional in a credit focused asset manager. 

• Compliance experience in a public trading business and maintaining a restricted list is needed.

• Experience performing MNPI analysis.

• Compliance experience with an asset manager that originates and manages CLOs is a plus.

• Compliance experience working in a control room setting.

• Expertise using Bloomberg and navigating corporate structures.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Exceptional candidates without a JD may be considered.

• Proactive in new situations and to independently manage projects to conclusion is important. 

• Must be willing to roll up sleeves and work with a variety of personalities.

• Must be a strong and independent thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must have a calm demeanor, tolerance for ambiguity, confidence and conscientious work ethic.

• Communicate risks, best practices and regulatory requirements (U.S. and international).

• Desire to work as part of a highly collaborative legal and compliance team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to embrace a variety of issues.

Expected annual base salary range:

$135,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
