Madison College’s Disability Resource Services (DRS) is seeking a Senior Student Affairs Case Manager to lead, coordinate, and manage various highly confidential responsibilities, activities, and projects. This role requires independent judgment and discretion while supporting the core functions of the Dean of Students Office (DOSO), including Student Concerns & Complaints, Student Conduct, Harassment/Discrimination, Title IX & Sexual Misconduct, Behavioral Intervention, and Prevention/Awareness Programming and Training.
This position plays a key role in supporting DOSO programming that fosters student success, retention, and completion. Senior Student Affairs Case Manager assists with departmental goal setting, retrieving, organizing, and analyzing data for reporting and unit planning, and identifying holistic student and business needs. The role also involves making and implementing recommendations that positively impact students, the department, and the college community. Additionally, the Case Manager will assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and assigning tasks to department staff, including student employees.
Providing culturally responsive student services, the Senior Student Affairs Case Manager will address the complex academic, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral health needs of students and facilitate referrals to college and community-based programs. This role will also serve as a functional expert and consultant for assigned schools, departments, and college employees, including staff, faculty, and managers.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, computer, and conflict management skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to engage effectively with a diverse internal and external college community. Maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive information with tact and diplomacy are essential.
This position reports to the Dean of Students Office leadership, currently the Manager of DOSO and DRS.
This is a year-round (52-week) position with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required but is not typical. This position has the option to perform work remotely, with the expectation for in office work three (3) days a week. Subject to change per Madison College policy.
