Responsibilities
Strategically plan and carry out short-term and long-term business plans through in-depth business analysis, industry studies and the study of market trends.
Refine and upgrade the content safety system for globalized products, incorporating statistical modeling methods to construct an efficient decision-making system that quantifies business tradeoffs.
Initiate analysis projects utilizing a comprehensive understanding of content safety.
Develop scalable solutions through data analysis, empowering various scenarios such as resource planning, automations in experimentation and decision rules, etc.
Collaborate closely with the global Trust and Safety team, proactively providing insights and recommendations, and guiding the implementation of data analysis value.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master’s degree in Applied Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any),
Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Conducting exploratory and predictive analysis using Python, R, or Scala programming languages;
Designing and maintaining dashboards using visualization tools to visualize key data and insights, track key performance indicators, and provide self-service tools to stakeholders;
Using SQL queries and data visualization tools to gather, process, visualize, and analyze large quantities of data to detect trends and anomalies in support of business opportunity identification;
Mining, preparing, cleansing, and analyzing structured data using statistical computing languages SQL, Python, or R for metrics creation, root cause analysis, or model preprocessing;
Developing and maintaining tables, views, indexes, datasets, and/or data pipelines to extract, clean, transform, load and maintain data across multiple databases; and
Designing A/B tests, conducting statistical analysis, and interpreting A/B test results to provide insights for product features.

Travel Requirement: International travel up to 5% required.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $180128-$240000 per year
