Information Technology – Network Engineer

Core Functions:
• Manage/maintain/upgrade/replace:
◦ Firewalls
◦ Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
◦ Routers
◦ Switches (Extreme Networks)
◦ Wireless Networks
◦ Telephones
◦ Telepresence
• Review security logs.
• Review penetration test results and mitigate issues.
• Manage Core and controllers.

Skills & Abilities
• Thorough knowledge of IT Management, project management, vendor management and Systems and Networking
• Responsive and reliable when issues arise.
• Created and maintain Visio network diagrams of a Wide Area Network.
• Created and maintain inventory for network equipment
• The ability to understand can coordinate equipment, lifecycle and licensing requirements
• Continued knowledge and evaluation of IT trends and roadmaps
• Strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and the desire to provide customer service in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Can juggle multiple requests/multitasks and prioritizes.
• Flexible with work hours/weekends/games
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to effectively execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to support multiple facilities: Raymond James Stadium, One Buccaneer Place and other remote locations (on a more limited basis)

Experience & Education
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology/information systems or commensurate work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, operations and engineering
• Technical certifications may be advantageous.

Technical Knowledge & Experience
• Knowledge and experience of IT Security and Compliance including HIPAA, PCI, ITIL.
• Thorough technical knowledge of network design, LAN/WAN, MPLS, Routing and Switching with specific knowledge of Extreme Networks a plus.
• Performed troubleshooting and configuring of BGP, EIGRP & OSPF routing protocols.
• Developed and implemented Access Control List and security policies for firewalls and routers to ensure secure network access.
• Wi-Fi design and engineering knowledge in a large deployment capacity of more than 1000 APs.
• Enterprise phone system administration, support and knowledge of SIP, VoIP
• Knowledge and experience with webhosting and load balancing.
• Knowledge and experience with VMWare.
• Extreme / FortiGate VPN, Firewall and network security experience.
• SAN experience including ISCI and Fiber
• Video Conferencing, Telepresence, collaboration and Video bridging (Cisco)
• Apple device support
• Stadium infrastructure (Ticket Scanners)

Work Environment
• The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
• Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required. Required to work all home games. May have to work occasional holidays.
• Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines.
• Computer and desk work represents a significant part of daily activities.
• Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time.
• Rarely is lifting more than 50 pounds required but lifting more than 20 pounds is required.
• Job duties may require employee to drive company vehicle and drive personal vehicle.
