Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate:

  • 5-6 Years of Experience: 29.73−29.73−36.00/hour

  • 17+ Years of Experience: Up to $43.20/hour

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: +$4.25/hour

  • Weekends: +$3.00/hour

• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Role Overview:
The Admissions Unit RN position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, with patients staying less than 24 hours. This role is ideal for nurses looking to advance to more acute areas, such as the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments during admission and each shift.

• Monitor and document changes in patient status, promptly reporting to the medical team.

• Administer prescribed treatments and medications, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

• Provide clear and compassionate patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

• Actively respond to patient needs and requests, anticipating and resolving them efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care RN experience.

• Licensure:

  • Compact RN License or Florida State RN License (required within 90 days if Compact License is held).

• Certifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

• Education:

  • Nursing Diploma or higher.
