Primary responsibility is to monitor and record candidate clearances, data enter and maintain Medical Records in Jefferson Occupational Health Office.Job Description
- Act as primary point of contact for Medical Records; forwarding specialty requests to the appropriate departmental individual.
- Track pre-placement labs; daily distribution to Jefferson Occupational Health providers for review and data enter into SYSTOC and PUREOHS (electronic medical records).
- Initiate contact with candidates/employees to retrieve and upload all health records as well as follow-up post-titer lab results.
- Maintain JOHN-TAPs TEAMs spreadsheet to provide real-time pre-placement clearances information. Assure Wills Eye pre-employment clearances separately.
- Serve in the capacity of Transfer Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely Enterprise-wide transfers.
- Process medical records daily (scheduled and unscheduled) to be seen for initial and follow-up appointments
- Scan documents such immunization records, imaging reports, labs etc. into SYSTOC, electronic medical record.
- Enter data for all laboratory results retrieved from pre-placements, bloodborne exposures, and follow-up appointments.\
- Assure that drug screens are entered into SYSTOC; including pre-placements, Grace Program, University student UDS, and remote new hires.
- Maintain documentation for international and local volunteers.
- Other jobs assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma with a Science associate’s degree preferred.
Two (2) to five (5) years experience in Medical Records, Occupational Health experience preferred.
