Research Program Manager- Cancer Center- Remote

The UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Research Program Manager to be responsible for planning, tracking, data analysis, reporting, and overseeing the administration and implementation of complex programs, projects, and initiatives. This is a remote position.
In this role, the Research Program Manager would be responsible for the following:
Coordinate with PI(s) and team members to design internal timelines.
Facilitate required reporting on either grant progress or for committee review.
Assist with activities of internal and external advisory boards or other steering committees, including setting up review meetings, operationalization and follow up of meeting outcomes.
Oversee tracking and maintaining program data, metrics and outcomes and assesses program impact to ensure achievement of goals.
Identify, analyze, and improve upon existing project management processes.
Facilitate research lab meetings to coordinate agenda, document minutes, distribute and follow up on project-related action items
Establish close relationships with key collaborators and platform staff to enhance knowledge flow and data distribution.
Assist with the submission of IRB documentation, material transfer agreements and data access agreements, data submissions, and other required documentation.
Assist with data processing and data transfer, internally to analysts and externally to collaborators and data sharing repositories as needed
Assist in drafting, editing, and submission of protocols, reports, letters, lecture presentations, email communications, and other written materials as needed.
Ensure data results are compiled, analyzed, and presented properly
Work with UVACCC staff to manage project-specific budgets to ensure expenditures and projections are on target.
Work with UVACCC communications team to update websites and distribute program information as needed
Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with UVACCC and external partners and solicits feedback to improve projects and programs.
Coordinate with PI(s), Associate Director of Research Development and Collaborations, and team members to organize grant submissions.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Master's degree
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience.

Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
