Job Description
Step into our R&D organization as a Senior Digital Transformation Manager and shape the digital systems and interfaces across current and future packing lines!
Your work will ensure seamless data flow and automation, turning innovative machinery into fully integrated production solutions. You will act as a global digital interface platform owner for advanced packing platform.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the digital integration agenda across packing platforms, aligning shopfloor Operational Technology (OT) with higher-level IT systems. You will:
- Drive data-driven decision making, automation, and digitalization to enhance performance and reduce cost, machine recipe optimization.
- Own and consolidate OT/IT functional specifications and ensure alignment across teams, actively engage in machinery projects.
- Continuously improve digital systems through technology reviews, road mapping, and future-solution planning.
- Communicate proactively with leadership and partners to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely decisions.
- Standardize data interfaces (e.g., HMI), support global rollouts, and secure high performance and quality through strong recipe management.
- Provide operational support to production, NPI, and Maintenance teams when technical challenges associated with digital architecture arise.
- Maintain essential documentation for machine digital interfaces/HMI, for training and global implementation purposes.
This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

The purpose of Research & Development, Packing and Packaging organization (R&D P&P) is to support and execute Engineering & Workplace business plan by ensuring all new products packed into optimal packaging in efficient manner on standardized equipment platforms. R&D P&P generally ensures foundation for global production of LEGO® products by focusing on platform ownership (leading, maintaining and standardizing of approved technology platforms), development projects (innovating and optimizing these platforms) and capacity and capability planning (introducing new platforms to production sites globally and supporting its installations, ramp ups and handovers).
R&D P&P team is located in Billund, DK and Kladno, CZ and is globally responsible for packing platforms (equipment), and packaging (materials, constructions and novelty products).
Do you have what it takes?
- Solid background in digital system design and software development
- Solid understanding of industrial Operational Technology (vision systems, fieldbus technologies) and basic mechanical principles
- Demonstrable experience in a production environment, with hands-on shopfloor exposure
- Precise, impactful communicator able to build alignment and resolve conflicts effectively
- Structured, systematic, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-cultural environment and adapting to different time zones and cultures
- Experience or familiarity with data warehousing, BI tools, and data analytics concepts would be an advantage
