Administrative Coordinator

This position will assist the Highway/Public Works Manager with the coordination of project progress and deadlines; grants, budget transfers, and other expenditures through County-wide enterprise software; and the management of the County's vehicle fleet, equipment, and fixed asset inventories. Essential Duties include assisting the Highway/Public Works Manager in maintaining a rolling schedule of ongoing projects, including work assignments and completion deadlines. Ensures timely and accurate completion of requisitions, purchases, and budget transfers. Maintains up-to-date inventory and maintenance intervals of vehicle fleet, equipment, and fixed assets. Assists Highway/Public Works Manager in determining maintenance priorities with regards to time and budgetary constraints. Coordinates with Highway/Public Works Manager on surveying active projects. Assures accuracy and completeness of related records.

Requirements

Two years of office experience required. Office experience in a similar environment such as a highway yard, construction company, car dealership, or mechanic shop preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
