Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management

The Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management is responsible for managing the strategic relationship, implementation, and strategy with our Original Equipment Manufacturers - OEMs (such as Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier, etc.). This is a Senior Leadership position within the Program Management office and is part of the Program Management Leadership Team. The Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management is accountable for defining all aspects of the product integration, creating and modifying the strategy as the product vision changes, creating and managing product integration plans and paperwork, communicating customer needs and as appropriate supporting customer meetings to maintain an acceptable level of performance in the view of our OEM partners. The Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management will work with team members across the entire organization as well as closely with the Vice President of Program Management, Engineering Leadership and members of the Product Line organization to align with regards to company’s priorities, vision, business-model, ROI and product deployment plans. The Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management will also provide leadership and guidance to team members in the Program Office as well as provide input to the Product Managers and Product Line Managers. The Senior Director, OEM Program Account Management will be held responsible for and to report status on their team’s objectives, responsibilities, and the OEM relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Customer Interface to the OEMs as it pertains to allocated RAVE features/products
• Lead the OEM team in communication and ensure delivery as it pertains to the OEMs
• Create, understand, and promote the vision and roadmap of the Product Lines as it relates to RAVE and all SPI products
• Create and manage OEM relationships
• Create, monitor, and manage product integration strategy
• Monitor industry, consumer, and other relevant trends in support of the product line as it relates to the future deliveries of the OEMs
• Collaborate with the Product Management and Product Line Management team on feature/product requirements
• Collaborate with the appropriate cross functional teams to ensure a successful product deployment into the OEMs
• Prepare for (or review preparations), execute, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the strategy with the OEM
• Ensure the OEM relationship is healthy
• Ensure the organization is aware of and prepared for OEM meetings
• Manage support teams at the Final Assembly Line (FAL)
• Support OEM contract creation, review, closure, and management as needed
• Monitor issues, deviations or departures from contractual commitments and solve or notify the appropriate stakeholders
• Create process when appropriate
• Identify and suggest resolutions for process problems
• Support customer visits, sales, and the program office in the execution of customer programs as it relates to the OEMs
• Support definition meetings at the OEM
• Lead OEM team in the overall performance of the group as well as mentor, manage and develop subordinates – completing all tasks as Manager of Record

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
• 15+ years of experience working in Product Integration
• 10+ years of experience working in a Management role
• 4-5 years of experience establishing budgets
• Completed undergraduate level coursework in management
• Prior Product Management experience
• Possess a creative eye and a good ‘product sense’
• Prior aerospace experience
• Technical IFE knowledge
• Experience managing contracts
• Experience with international business

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $158,000 to 200,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
