Job Title: PRN Family Nurse Practitioner / Primary CareLocation: Albuquerque, NM

The RoleMedici Onsite is actively seeking seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner on a PRN (“as needed”) basis for our clinic located in Albuquerque, NM. Will care for a pediatric and adult patient population in a value-based care model with 30 minute and 1 hour appointment times. Shifts will always be between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. No late clinics, no weekends, no after-hours charting and NO CALL. This clinic also provides additional patient care and community out-reach services via a brand new Mobile Unit, and we would prefer a provider that is willing and able to drive the mobile unit as well. What You’ll DoFunction independently to perform age-appropriate history and physicals for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs. Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities Implement interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.Assist with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.Facilitate the patient’s transition within and between health care settingsCollaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals. Facilitate staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools
