About the role
Wilsonart currently has an opening for an Area Manager for our Temple North Distribution Center. This role will be responsible for managing the activities of the Wilsonart Distribution operation in our Temple, Texas manufacturing facility. - Lead the departments to create and achieve department goals to support the overall business unit goals.
- Lead the continuous improvement effort of the area leveraging lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Coordinate priorities and resources with peer-level managers for enhanced performance.
- Integrate PDCA methodology into the area of responsibility and manage improvements.
- Coordinate with Quality and Technical resources to support customer needs and concerns.
- Communicate with the departmental Supervisors, Team Leaders, and associates on the progress of achieving the area goals, leveraging tier communications
