Software Developer - “eCommerce Product Stream” (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Software Developer for the Product Stream part of our software stack. Working in an agile Development Team, you focus on developing high-quality software that aligns with business goals.

This role reports to the Component Lead of the eCommerce Product Stream team.

Stellenbeschreibung

• You will be part of the development team, focusing on providing product data to our online shops.
• Improve the existing software stack by applying sound developing methods.
• Accompany the whole software development process as part of an agile (scrum) team.
• Find creative solutions for our challenges with your experience and by thinking out-of-the box.
• Modernize our software stack to continue our path to a service-oriented architecture.
• Through code design and optimization, you ensure that our IT solutions can be used in the long term and provide the foundation for continuous further development and scaling.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education in the field of IT/software-development with proven experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Java (17 or later) and SQL (preferably Oracle PL/SQL).
• Proficiency with JSON, REST Web Services and Kafka.
• Experience with Agile software development (scrum),
• Basic DevOps know-how. So you can work with Docker, k8s, CI/CD (Gitlab).
• Kotlin knowledge beneficial.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working method.
• Conceptual and analytical skills with attention to details.
• A team player that likes to share and discuss ideas with the team.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. German would be a clear advantage.
