Job Purpose
Our team collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute large complex gas projects while maintaining schedule and budget and mitigating risks.
Key Accountabilities
Provide leadership and direction to project teams. You will be responsible and accountable for delivering Capital Projects ($.5MM - $20MM USD) within the LNG portfolio in the New England territory. These projects ensure the safe & reliable delivery of natural gas to existing and future customers.
Your Key Accountabilities include:
Manage LNG projects such as new facilities, major additions, replacements, and retrofit projects. Manage the Scope, Schedule, and Budget aspects of assigned projects. Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and efficient resource utilization both throughout a network delivery organization. Supporting groups within this organization include Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, Environmental, Resource Coordination, and others.
Effective Communications and team leadership with an ability to influence. Identify and Manage risks to the delivery of the assigned projects. Compliance with environmental, safety, and National Grid standards and policies. Adherence with all project permits. Project closure activities. Assuring project savings by ensuring the least cost-fit-for-purpose solution is delivered. Coordinate and provide direction for the accounting, cost, forecast, and construction functions as they relate to the completion of the project
Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contracts, contractors, purchase orders, project correspondences, permits, and all project-related documents
Negotiate, issue, and execute change orders (proposals) to the design team, contractors, and others.
Drive efficiencies across projects for on-schedule, on-budget delivery in alignment with company values, safety objectives, and quality standards.
Qualifications
You’ll have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering discipline, and/or significant relevant project management experience.
You’ll have worked at least 5+ years in a project management, construction, or engineering role.
You’ll demonstrate experience with the successful delivery of complex projects.
You’ve led high-performing teams and have fostered a high-energy environment, whereby team members can openly discuss relevant issues with an emphasis on continuous improvement
You’ll have direct experience with construction, environmental, and/or engineering projects.
You’ll possess a valid driver’s license.

Salary - $108,000- $127,000
This position has a career path that provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, and expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided with offers against the minimum qualifications for this role and their individual experience.
