The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) is a progressive business regulatory state agency dedicated to the mission of protecting and serving Oregon's consumers and workers while supporting a positive business climate. The department administers state laws and rules governing workers' compensation, occupational safety and health, financial institutions, insurance companies and building codes. The department has consumer protection and education programs, offices, and ombuds to help consumers, injured workers, and businesses.
This position is with the Workers' Compensation Division (WCD). WCD administers, regulates, and enforces the laws and administrative rules governing the Oregon workers' compensation system.
This position is represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

This position is eligible to telework on a part-time basis once the incumbent has gained the proficiency to perform work independently. However, regular, scheduled office hours are also required.
Here’s what you will do:
As a Reimbursement Assistant, you will research, document, evaluate, and determine eligibility of reimbursement applications submitted by insurers, self-insured employers, and service companies that enables the timely and accurate processing of requests and maintain the integrity of the Workers’ Benefit Fund (WBF).

Here’s what you need to qualify:
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
