The Production Planner plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors stock requirement inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules.
What You’ll Do:
• Review new purchase orders with Customer Service to verify customer ship dates.
• Review & Maintain Customer Open Order Reports.
• Notify customer service of changes to delivery schedules.
• Work with purchasing to ensure material is available on scheduled start dates.
• Work with Management, Team Leaders, and customer service to determine manpower requirements.
• Coordinate with tooling, purchasing, and quality to ensure tooling, gauges, or other required equipment is available prior to releasing jobs.
• Maintain job scheduling board.
• Review new purchase orders with Customer Service to verify customer ship dates.
• Review & Maintain Customer Open Order Reports.
What You’ll Need:
• 2+ years of planning and/or scheduling experience in a production environment required.
• Must have experience with MS Office software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
