Duties: Directly and through subordinate staff accountants, manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial and regulatory reporting, and books. Hire, train and manage staff accountants to ensure compliance with internal policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and regulatory requirements. Oversee analysis of financial data and preparation of income statements, balance sheets and other reports for management, stakeholders and external parties. Ensure integrity of internal and/or external data sources for accounting transactions and statements. Research and resolve complex problems in financial reporting systems. Review, verify and approve payment of bills, accounting entries and other financial transactions. Ensure maintenance of accurate files and records to comply with internal policies and procedures, financial objectives and regulatory requirements. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting projects, including month-end general ledger close, account reconciliations, year-end reports, corporate income tax reporting, and year-end audit. Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts and variance analysis. Develop financial system improvements, upgrades and system controls to increase accuracy and efficiency. Identify process deficiencies, formulate corrective action plans, and develop process improvements and/or procedural controls.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any major or field of study and 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance management role within an international manufacturing environment.
Salary: $98,342 - $134,000/year.
