Assistant Property Manager (Merced The Grove)

About the role

WinnCompanies is looking for a dynamic and detailed Assistant Property Manage to effectively help manage, market, and maintain the excellence of Merced The Grove, a beautiful 204-unit Tax Credit / PBV community in Merced, CA.
In this role, you will regularly interact with residents and prospective residents to ensure retention and high occupancy rates. You will also be responsible for supporting the property management team and assisting with the leasing process.
Please note that the pay range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all aspects of the apartment leasing process, including administrative duties, rents and fees, wait list maintenance, notices and evictions, etc.
  • Process tenant recertifications. 
  • Monitor and produce property reports in Yardi.
  • Promote positive resident relations and respond to resident issues and complaints.
  • Provide assistance and back-up to the Property Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of office or sales experience.
  • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years of industry-related experience.
  • Experience with RealPage property management software.
  • Experience with administering tax credit programs.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
