The VP - Crop Protection & Seed is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategies related to crop protection products and seed technologies, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for crop chemicals and seed product lines.
• Oversee research and development initiatives to innovate new products.
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive market penetration.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong understanding of agronomy and crop science.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the agricultural sector.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in crop protection and/or seed management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel frequently to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events.
• Capability to work in various agricultural environments, including field settings.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment is a combination of office settings and field locations, requiring adaptability to both indoor and outdoor conditions.
