Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience generating insights from analysis on large data sets to drive business decisions.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
- Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment for a complex organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences.
- Structured problem-solving skills, combined with strong business acumen.

The gTech Users and Products (gUP) Strategy and Operations team is part of the gTech Strategy and Operations (gSO) organization. The gUP gSO team supports the global gUP organization with strategic and analytical insights. As part of the gUP gSO team, you’ll become an expert in how gUP provides customer, partner, and product support for almost all of Google’s non-Ads products.
The Business Planning and Analysis team is focused on ensuring that gUP has a clear view of the work and resources, and driving strong business planning processes that best aligns resources with the highest impact priorities. As part of this team, you will develop expertise in understanding how cross-functional teams come together to deliver amazing operational capabilities, and you’ll use that expertise to support leadership-level decision making. Through the cross-functional nature of this job, you’ll get exposure to all the different aspects of operations within gUP, working with colleagues around the world.
You’ll own day-to-day processes while becoming a subject-matter expert in how gUP manages its resources. You are a detail-oriented connector that seeks to understand the broader business context of the work, and develops efficient, effective processes that return high value for our stakeholders. You will develop strong relationships with your cross-functional partners to get things done in a collaborative way. With your expertise, you will be part of strategic cross-functional projects aimed at improving velocity and effectiveness across gUP.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own key business operations programs for gUP, including headcount management and T&E. Develop and implement organization-wide processes and programs.
- Ensure gUP is managing resources wisely by running strong internal processes for headcount and non-headcount budget management, tracking, and reporting.
- Deliver clear, recurring reporting with insights and recommendations about the progress of the gUP business plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to contribute to strategic cross-functional projects.
- Build strong relationships as a primary contact for cross-functional partners across GTM, GBO, Finance, POps.
