About this Role

The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives and will partner with Operations on all aspects of the Company’s financial planning. The successful candidate will conduct strategic analyses, complex modeling, operational reporting, budget development, market research, and will support capital allocation decision-making, including M&A evaluation, diligence, return analysis and valuations.  This individual will serve as a functional leader providing consulting services that include providing insights into Operational business performance, developing strategic financial plans and evaluating investment and acquisition opportunities.

The ideal candidate is client-centered, highly detail-oriented and uses analytical and strategic thinking skills to influence business decisions and drive the company’s financial strategy. Strong experience in complex financial modeling and M&A within a fast-paced environment is critical.

What You'll Do

Strategic Finance:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support capital allocation, budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and business decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to help inform executive decision-
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as accounting, treasury, legal, and operations to align financial strategies and execution.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and industry trends to ensure financial health and alignment with the company's goals.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

  • Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation, and risk assessment of potential acquisitions, divestitures, or joint ventures.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential
  • Collaborate with the Operations and leadership team to assess strategic fit and financial benefits of M&A
  • Manage post-acquisition integration efforts, including financial reporting, consolidation, purchase accounting and alignment of budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA or CPA
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in complex financial modeling, with a background in M&A (mergers & acquisitions) preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for a complex, multi- entity organization.
  • Hands-on experience in M&A due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition
  • Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
  • Ability to identify and research/resolve key issues across multiple functions and consult when necessary.
  • Experienced in organizing and leading client conversations regarding complex topics.
  • Experience in taking conceptual ideas and leading discussions to produce thorough, actionable business cases and plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Python, ERP systems, Excel, and financial reporting
