SUMMARY:
The Senior Data and Reporting Specialist will work closely with sales operations, cross functional partners, and technology to curate data and assist in understanding impact of process changes. This person will also serve as a connection between our rich 1st party data source and operational data with the purpose of identifying how these data sets can work together to expose business value. Additional responsibilities will be focused on support and automation of complex reporting and the ability to interpret stakeholder requirements to produce blended data for reporting purposes. There will also be opportunities to work cross functional to monitor and consult on business processes within established systems; recommending corrective action or update where needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze, reconcile, and report to identify any process anomalies. Partner with Operations and Sales on issues and solutions
- Partner with Sales Operations to curate data
- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using blended data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers.
- Develop technical tools and programming that leverages big data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data with intent to maintain and update data integrity on an automated basis.
- Identifies existing and future business challenges to collect, interpret, and develop models to form hypotheses and present recommendations on remediation.
- Directly produce datasets/models and reports for analysis using system reporting tools and other software
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information related field, or Operations
- 3+ years of experience in big data, reporting, and analytics
- Clear understanding of product, sales, and operational metrics that are drivers of revenue and operational process.
- Experience with data curation and Power BI modelling
- Strong technical skills working with large datasets via SQL/Python. Experience with Big Data concepts, Databricks, Snowflake, and architecture
- Strong reporting acumen and experience required (Tableau, Flask, Dundas, Microstrategy, Power BI, ect...)
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies and adapt to an evolving tech-scape
