The women’s wear line consists of sportswear tops and outerwear with plans of expansion into additional categories. Robert Graham now operates freestanding stores in locations including Houston, Las Vegas, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Short Hills, New Jersey and Columbus Circle in New York City. The brand also sells at luxury department stores and boutiques including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales nationwide, and Harry Rosen throughout Canada. Robert Graham has retail presence in more than a dozen countries around the world and has showrooms located in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Dusseldorf

Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Director of Sales leads the sales strategy and execution for the Robert Graham and Saks Fifth Avenue brands, focusing on driving revenue, margin growth, and brand positioning. This role manages a team, oversees key accounts, and ensures alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Strategy & Innovation
- Develop and execute strategies to grow existing accounts and penetrate new markets.
- Oversee competitive analysis and trend monitoring.
- Approve seasonal business proposals and line plans tailored to customer needs.
- Strategize brand positioning and in-store placement.
- Lead market appointments and trade show presence.
- Oversee financial planning and execution for fabric buys, ensuring alignment with seasonal strategies and margin goals
- Manage monthly budgets and forecasts, providing accurate projections and identifying opportunities.
Operations & Results
- Review and guide sales performance, stock levels, and merchandising strategies.
- Approve markdown strategies and sales recommendations.
- Travel to customer locations and trade shows to ensure execution and relationship building.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow relationships with department and specialty store accounts.
- Oversee communication between customers and internal teams (Sales, Design, Production).
- Manage co-op programs, allowances, and givebacks in partnership with planning and accounts.
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire and lead the sales team, coach junior members in sales and presentation skills.
- Evaluate team performance and contribute to talent development and retention.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Deep industry relationships and retail math fluency.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of wholesale apparel sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $125,000-$170,000
