Job Summary

Summary: Job Summary: Levy Restaurants is seeking a diligent Sanitation Assistant to support the sanitation team in maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Sanitation Assistant will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food service areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and assisting with the organization of cleaning supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has a strong understanding of sanitation procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·   Clean and sanitize food service areas before and after events.

·        Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities.

·        Stock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

·        Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

·        Travel to both the Paycom Center and different University of Oklahoma properties as required.

·        Assist in implementing and monitoring cleaning schedules and procedures.

·        Support the sanitation team in maintaining high sanitation standards.

·        Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored correctly.

·        Assist in training staff on sanitation procedures, including the use of protective gear and hazardous material disposal.

·        Help oversee waste disposal and recycling efforts.

·        Assist in preparing reports on sanitation activities and issues for upper management.

·        Address any sanitation-related complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.

 

 Qualifications:

 ·   Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role preferred.

·        Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.

·        Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·        Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

·        Strong problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

·        Willingness to travel as required.
