Select Physical Therapy is seeking a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Marshalltown, IA

 

Our outpatient center inMarshalltown, IA is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our littlest patients achieve their milestones and goals.

 

Status: PRN

Schedule: Varied Monday-Friday 8a.m.-5p.m.

Compensation: starting at $27.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
• Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications

Minimium Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
• Pediatric outpatient rotation
• National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Valid state driver’s license
