Security Manager-Senior

Responsibilities

Peraton will provide CBP with a range of technical, financial, and program management support in order to achieve a mature set of enterprise cloud services, which demonstrate a parity of service quality and capabilities among industry-leading tech firms. To achieve this, Peraton will provide professional services to integrate and enable the consumption of a combination of software applications/databases, compute, storage, and data protection elements from various sources, including Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS), etc.

 

Duties may include:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security strategies to safegaurd hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• This includes security architecture and design, risk assessment and mitigation, incident response and threat detection, and compliance and audit.
• Manages a team of cloud IT cybersecurity professionals; and plans, designs, manages, and implements programs, networks, and systems that protect a company's cloud infrastructure services, applications, and computer networks from cyber attacks, intrusions, malware, and various types of data breaches; and assures the networks are kept running smoothly in order to protect all sensitive data and prevent loss of time and money.
• Identifies current security threats, predicts future attacks, and designs a security incident response program with a documented plan of action to take if a security incident occurs.
• Remediates security incidents, and works with upper management to prepare for potential business repercussions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 16 years of experience, may have management experience
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance (i.e. CBP Full BI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer and Boarder Protection (CBP) Full BI preferred

• One or more Cloud Certifications preferred (i.e. Microsoft, Google, AWS, etc).
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
