Job Description

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Site Manager to coordinate and supervise the implementation and realisation of an industrial project. This is a site-based role as the Construction Manager is responsible for monitoring the progress of the project and providing an up-to-date insight into the status of a project in communication with multiple stakeholders within the project team.

• Oversee and direct the construction of the project up to its completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and evaluate extra costs when requested
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and required safety regulations and internal company practices (HSE)
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Track physical progress, cross evaluating with cost and schedule plans
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare periodic internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards from Italy and the use of proper construction techniques

Qualifications

• From 5 to 10 years of working experience in construction management
• Ideally experience in real estate.
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory
