Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

You are an important part of the development of a safe and sustainable energy supply through our new generation of air-to-water heat pumps for residential buildings. In doing so, you make a key contribution to environmentally friendly air conditioning of buildings.
You take over the disciplinary and technical leadership of an agile team that implements models and functions for the control and regulation of heat pumps in Matlab/Simulink.
You develop your team and ensure that the further growth of the team in terms of team size and capabilities is in line with portfolio and project requirements. You set the framework and ensure that your team can work efficiently.
You are responsible for stakeholder management including capacity planning and the creation and maintenance of roadmaps and communicate these transparently across hierarchy levels.
You shape the software development strategy of our heat pumps in close coordination with the other groups of the department and further develop the development processes both organizationally and technically.
You work together with colleagues at different development locations (mainly Sweden, Germany and India).

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Academic background in mechanical/mechatronics/physics/system& controls/electrical engineering, or similar. PhD is appreciated.
Proactive attitude, team player, initiative to drive topics, confident and able to work under pressure.
Structured working style, solution-oriented, strong implementation skills, responsible and creative.
Several years of leadership experience in a development/research environment in larger teams (> 10 people), ideally in software development.
Preferably knowledge in model based development, experience in agile working.
Very good knowledge of Portuguese and English, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
