THE JOB:
As the Assistant General Manager for the restaurant, Lago, you'll assist with driving excellence in operations, inspire our service team, and create unforgettable moments for our guests.
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including budgets, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and marketing strategies to achieve profitability. Assist in developing and executing business plans.

• Support HR functions, including hiring, training, feedback, and compliance with policies, legal standards, and collective bargaining agreements.

• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and manage feedback channels.

• Collaborate with the culinary team for seamless service.

• Implement policies, procedures, and training while upholding health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Ensure completion of compliance training.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu, products, and equipment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a leader in a high volume/upscale restaurant.

• Bachelor's degree.

• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.

• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant OR Previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant.
