Project Overview:

Job Summary:
This position is a full-time role that offers part-time telework flexibility in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office, then may offer part-time telework flexibility. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. #LI-SNH

In this role, you will plan, develop, coordinate and review plant design and piping work on large projects having specialized requirements. You will optimize facility layout based on diagrams, client needs, current technology, and operational and maintenance requirements. Your technical input will ensure configuration compliance, procurement requirements are met, and complex issues are resolved. Essential duties include reviewing pipe and piping component related calculations and material evaluations in addition to preparation and execution of material requisitions for bulk pipe, valves and supports.
Major Responsibilities:
Level 1
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard plant design and piping engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Plans plant and piping layouts and prepares detailed plant and piping designs and drawings for structures (e.g. load sketches and/or orientation and elevation drawings) and portions of major plants. Examines and analyzes pipe configurations for ANSI/ASME code compliance.
- Prepares plant design and piping designs and construction drawings using 2-D / 3-D computer aided design (CAD), presentation graphics and plant design models and codes.
