If you love organizing data, spreadsheets and supporting others, North Shore Health has a great opportunity for you! NSH is seeking applicants for a full-time Accounting Assistant role. Under the direction of the Director of Finance, and working closely with the Business Office, the Accounting Assistant is responsible to process accounts payable, assist with general accounting functions, and provide backup support to payroll and HR.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience: We’re looking for someone with one to two years’ experience in accounts payable and payroll, or other business office functions. Strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential. This role requires always maintaining the strictest confidentiality. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Word and Excel are necessary. (One to two years working as an accounting and/or payroll assistant in a healthcare facility is desirable.)

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Some post-high school education preferred)

Salary range $22.73 to $34.39
