Imagine working on a codebase that affects such an audience, then multiply it by X amount of customers that we have in our portfolio, and you'll end up with your code impacting millions of people all around the Globe!<br/>Note: This role is available in The Netherlands, Germany, France, and The UK <h3>What you'll do</h3> <ul> <li>Guide projects independently, from technical design to launch</li><li>Apply architectural standards and start using them on new projects</li><li>Contribute to code reviews and documentation and take on complex bug fixes</li><li>Begin writing useful technical documentation</li><li>Mentor more junior members</li><li>Report directly to the Engineering Manager</li></ul> <h3>Your background</h3> <ul> <li>Min. 10 years of professional experience</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Java</li><li>Deep architectural understanding of web applications</li><li>Good knowledge in back-end technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Lucene, SQL, and Maven</li><li>Experience with data structures, in particular, how they are implemented and how to apply them</li><li>Passion for collaborating, solving hard problems and to ask questions</li><li>Drive for growth, both as a developer and teammate</li></ul> <h3>About Teams</h3> <ul> <li>Jira DC Security Team mitigates the most complex vulnerabilities for Jira in the Data Center (on-prem) version, such as cross-site scripting or token forgery, with backend solutions built mainly in Java.</li><li>Platform DC Team delivers features reusable in almost all apps from our on-prem portfolio, such as Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, or Bitbucket. These days, one of the most important topics on our agenda is accessibility (a11y).</li><li>Team Neptune works on Crowd, a user-management app that is the gateway to our Atlassian Ecosystem.</li><li>The Guardians build enterprise Customers' trust by keeping theirJirainstances operational. This includes a lot of investigative work and solving the most challenging issues our Customers might encounter.
