Sr. SAP Systems Analyst

Job Responsibilities

The Sr. SAP Systems Analyst will oversee the execution of commercial implementation projects that maintain a 360-degree view of systems that support the spares business including pricing, commercial offerings, and market share defense of spare parts. Examples of the projects include pricing automation, maintaining spare parts database, tracking contract performance, amongst others. This role is highly visible and cross-functional, focused on interacting with the global business development group, regional account teams, and other supporting business functions in spares.

 

Sr. SAP Systems Analyst:

• Develop an understanding of Lam’s spare parts business and product portfolio. Act as an internal consultant and gather business requirements for new IT solutions necessary to support business needs.  
• Develop application specifications and an execution plan to implement new solutions in coordination with business users, IT resources, and other consultants.
• Influence and lead throughout project implementation and ensure user adoption of new systems. 
• Perform cost and benefit analysis to make recommendations for an optimum solution path.
• Drive the execution timeline in coordination with Lam stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Acts as a change agent to train users on systems and ensure a smooth roll out of new initiatives.
• Manage continuous improvement activities related to SAP, document resolutions in SharePoint, and support additional business needs.

Other Job Responsibilities

Spares pricing

• Manage spares pricing related projects in collaboration with business development, regional accounts, and cost accounting teams.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate pricing related business processes.  
• Drive cross-functional team meetings to execute against initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with a minimum of 12 years' experience or Master's degree with 8 years' experience or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with project implementation of SAP HANA or similar ERP platform.
• Demonstrated project management skills associated with delivering project goals, timelines, and budgets.    
• Collaborator and a communicator with a reputation to get things done.
• Data analysis and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BW or SAP SD
