What You’ll Do

• Lead the full software development lifecycle—from design and coding to deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our systems.

• Gather requirements, estimate scope, and create robust design specifications in close partnership with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and architects, to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.

• Design and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, ensuring product quality and security.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.

• Tackle complex technical challenges and provide expert support for production applications.

• Champion best practices in code review, source control, and agile methodologies.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a track record of leading teams or projects.

• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++).

• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).

• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern development tools/frameworks.

• Strong background in automated testing, debugging, and ensuring code quality.

• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Our Senior Software Engineering, earns between $130,700 - 196,100 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
