Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Program Management Analyst (Manufacturing and Industrial Base) to support our Huntsville, AL location.

 

The U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) is seeking a mission-focused and versatile Program Analyst to support the Directed Energy Project Office (DEPO). This role requires a unique blend of operational awareness, technical coordination, and data-informed decision support. The ideal candidate will assist in synchronizing program activities, managing tasking and planning workflows, and contributing to systems engineering and integration planning.  A key element of the role involves collecting, processing, and visualizing data from field tests and lab events to support performance evaluation and leadership decision-making. This position offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to the rapid development and fielding of high-energy laser weapon systems. Up to 50% travel may be required to visit and coordinate with manufacturers and industrial base partners across the United States.

 

Duties:

  • Operational & Program Coordination:
    • Support planning, tasking, and coordination activities in direct support of government leadership.
    • Track and manage internal and external action items, assignments, and deliverables across integrated product teams (IPTs).
    • Attend and contribute to organizational stand-ups, working groups, and IPTs; document action items and assist with follow-up.
    • Develop and refine internal tracking tools for activities, milestones, and decisions; ensure awareness and alignment across stakeholders.
    • Draft and coordinate correspondence, executive briefings, talking points, and white papers.
  • Data Collection & Visualization Support:
    • Assist with the planning and execution of data collection during field tests, lab demonstrations, and operational events.
    • Compile, clean, and organize collected data sets from test events and technical teams.
    • Generate visualizations and summary products (charts, plots, dashboards, reports) to support leadership understanding and assessment of key performance parameters.
    • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to align data products with test objectives and decision needs.
  • Systems Engineering & Technical Integration Support:
    • Support development of documentation such as requirements traceability, integration planning, and verification matrices.
    • Assist government systems engineers by coordinating inputs from multiple technical stakeholders.
    • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions; capture key technical risks, decisions, and action items.
    • Help ensure consistent configuration and interface documentation across efforts.
    • Track test objectives and performance indicators to support system-level assessments.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a DoD acquisition, R&D, or prototyping program.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management, particularly in a defense or high-tech environment.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering fundamentals, technical baselines, and integration planning.
  • Experience supporting test events, engineering planning, or technical coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and task management ability with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to manage trackers and develop briefing materials.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of developing briefing materials and summarizing complex information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
  • Travel: 50%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain a Secret clearance throughout their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, operations research, systems management, or a related technical field.
