STAFF ENGINEER to join our team. Client's business problem to solve? You will take a key role in NTT Data Cloud Services. This role works directly with cross-functional teams across the company to support our Clients in their migration to Cloud. The Cloud Practice  has a focus on both the short term and the long term. Supporting our Clients migration to Cloud to looking at the long-term Cloud needs of the Client. This will mean managing the interests from NTT Data but also aligning these with our Client Public Cloud needs. </p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead design, build and migration projects for with GCP solutions</li> <li>Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements in GCP</li> <li>Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts</li> <li>Recommend solution to internal/external stakeholders (director level and above) clearly articulating the pros and cons of various solutions</li> <li>Provide guidance and mentoring for team members and review their deliverables for quality and thoroughness</li> <li>Proactively communicate the Program/project managers by Identifying, mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, assumptions throughout full lifecycle</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>GCP Architecture &amp; Design: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform.</li> <li>Cloud Migration: Lead and support the migration of applications, data, and services from on-premises infrastructure to GCP.</li> <li>Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud solutions for maximum performance and cost-efficiency.</li> <li>Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, including managing access controls and security settings.</li> <li>Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans in the cloud environment.</li> <li>Automation and Orchestration: Utilize automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment and management tasks.</li> <li>Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance issues, security threats, and ensure regular updates and patches.</li> <li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.</li> </ul> <p>Nice to have:</p> <ul> <li>Containerization Technologies: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar containerization technologies.</li> <li>CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices.</li> <li>API Development: Experience in developing and managing APIs.</li> </ul> <p>Preferences: </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li> <li>Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing technologies.</li> <li>Relevant GCP certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect or Google Professional Data Engineer.</li> <li>Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.</li> <li>Proficient in automation and scripting languages.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li> </ul> <p><u>About NTT DATA Services</u></p> <p>NTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
