That’s why we offer a flexible hybrid work model that allows you to collaborate with office colleagues on some days, and work from home on others.The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and experienced IT Project Manager to join the Governance and Enablement team supporting National Integration Services (NIS). This group is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) group of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF), which operates in partnership with National IT (NIT) and other stakeholders. The NIS vision is to be the trusted strategic partner that accelerates breakthroughs across the System.
This role is part of the Governance function of the Governance and Enablement group supporting NIS with enterprise policies, risk management, and audit / compliance activities. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be a strong leader with experience in risk management, as well as seeing complex projects to completion. This role is a critical component to our team’s success. It requires sound judgment, an eye for accuracy, and discretion in handling confidential information. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage risks, prepare security documentation, juggle multiple concurrent priorities, and be able to communicate effectively across various business partners and leadership.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support SAFR and compliance / security workstreams across the NIS portfolio; responsibilities include (but not limited to), identifying, assessing, prioritizing, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting on risks across the organization.
Document security controls and develop supporting SAFR / security documentation.
Ensure all reporting dashboards and central repositories are maintained and up-to-date for senior leadership (e.g., Xacta, SharePoint, etc.)
Serve as primary point of contact for OCISO, NIT / SF auditors, and other risk assessment agencies, including coordinating audit activities, facilitating the provision of requested documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
Provide expertise and guidance to product teams on all matters related to FRISS policy requirements, including control implementations, remediation plans, authorizations to operate, etc.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory / FRISS policy changes that could impact the risk posture of the NIS portfolio.
Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
Develop reports and other materials for executive leadership and other key stakeholders on incidents, emerging compliance challenges, general compliance activities, and communicate the results of assessments, including control deficiencies or weaknesses, root causes, and recommendations, to various stakeholders and audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field.
5+ years of IT work experience, including 2+ years of experience in the areas of Information Technology, Cloud, security/controls, or similar areas.
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data visualization tools to design compelling visualizations in the form of dashboard and reports.
Strong critical thinking and written and oral communication skills, including the ability to identify patterns, trends, or information gaps in reviewing and questioning quantitative data.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse groups of subject matter experts
Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrix or virtual organization
Must have strong interpersonal skills and cultural EQ with ability to navigate between different communication styles and disciplines
Must have excellent priority setting skills with flexibility and adaptability to respond to shifting business needs
Must possess solid business acumen.
