We believe that joy is for everyone.   Position Overview: The Learning and Development (L&D) Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs to enhance employee engagement & performance, skill development, and organizational growth. This role involves identifying training needs, developing strategies for effective learning experiences, and fostering a culture of continuous development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Design and manage end-to-end learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Create training materials, workshops, e-learning modules, and other resources to address skill gaps. 
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is accurate and engaging. 
  • Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis. 
  • Identify current and future skill requirements and align L&D initiatives accordingly. 
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees at various levels. 
  • Partner with external vendors or trainers for specialized learning programs, as needed. 
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of L&D programs. 
  • Monitor employee performance and feedback to continuously improve training initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with HR, leadership teams, and department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Act as a consultant to leadership on strategies to build a learning culture. 
  • Leverage learning management systems (LMS) to track and report training participation and completion. 
  • Explore and implement innovative tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience. 
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner. 
  • Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 
  • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.  
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. 
Supervisory Responsibilities: 
  • None. 
  • This position reports to the VP of People.

  • Skilled in collaborating and communicating within cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines.

  • Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is or may be present.  
Education and Experience:
  • 7 or more years of L&D, training, organizational development experience, AND 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, related field or equivalent; OR 
    Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks. 
  • Must have experience providing L&D, training, and/or organizational development within a manufacturing environment.
